Assistant Site Merchandiser

About the Position

 

The Assistant Site Merchandiser supports the visual appearance of the website and executes online marketing and business initiatives to ensure a superior customer experience. Ensures all imagery on site is updated and accurate.

 

Responsibilities

 

  Assist in weekly/monthly analysis reports on Site Merchandising

  Provide digital analytics on category performance/left nav performance

  Maintain and sequence website on a daily basis – collaborating with merchants and marketing on product performance

  Assist with the process of uploading product on Anntaylor.com website

  Responsible for product on site – timely launches, all product is available, no broken images, default colors reflect current buys or editorial/email needs

  Product Data upload: consolidate each department’s styles for the launch and import into system

  Use site analytics to measure traffic, conversion and revenue on navigation and editorial messages

  Maximize sales through continual site optimization (sequencing, cross-sells, default colors, etc.)

  Monitor departmental zero selling

  Continually evaluates online environment and competitive analysis on other sites

  Liaison between marketing and merchandising

  Analyze product performance on site and work to optimize product positioning and engagement

  Work closely with e-commerce marketing managers to ensure product offering is highly visible

  Ensure promotions and markdowns are executed properly on the site

  Create and maintain Merchandising Master Document

  Utilize web analytics

  Use site analytics to measure traffic, conversion and revenue on navigation and editorial messages

  Responsible for Product web set launch tasks including style activation, sequencing, Site QA, etc.

 

Requirements

 

• Bachelors degree, or equivalent

• 1-2 years marketing or ecommerce merchandising experience

  Extremely detail oriented, with excellent follow-through skills

  Strong fashion sense with a sense of brand and client needs

  Demonstrate the organizational ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-pace environment

  Ability to think both strategically and creatively

  Solution-driven problem solver

  Collaboratively work with cross functional teams and own team members

  Professional verbal and written communication skills

  Experience with Google Analytics/Omniture is a plus

  Ability to execute to timelines and provide timely solutions

  Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel
