This position is responsible for the development and life cycle management of products and services in order to optimize market plan performance, revenue growth and profitability objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Develops business plans and positioning of cutting edge products in the marketplace. Develop competitive evaluation, and drive execution/tactics to cause Marketing and Sales to drive improvements to current sales, subscriber and revenue levels. Ensure reporting is accurate and available to allow full analysis of product performance and/or accurate compensation to sales. Product lines managed are considered critical to the overall success of the company.
This position requires an understanding of technology, relevant disciplines, theories, or techniques within the organization. By using or developing expertise and unique knowledge, this position contributes to the development of Cricket objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Accountable for development of new features or capabilities as well as revenue attainment and profitability. Viewed as product owner within Cricket throughout the life cycle of product.
Product Marketing conducts multi-year product planning to determine and execute product life-cycle decisions. Ensures and monitors product consistency for alignment with the overall marketing and corporate strategy. Oversees the product performance, revenue, market share, penetration, and profitability objectives to determine and recommend product marketing strategy expenditures.
Required Qualifications:
Five years experience in product life cycle management required
Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
Proven ability to translate ideas and vision into product definition and requirements
Proven ability to launch and support ideas and vision
Proven ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to successfully partner with other organizations including technology, go-to-market, and device teams
Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills
Strong strategic thinking skills
Working knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures and excellent communication.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other standard office computer applications
Desired Qualifications:
Six or more years experience in product lifecycle management
Experience in wireless services, data, and / or high tech industry--messaging experience
Ability to anticipate risks and devise contingencies to manage them
