Key Responsibilities
 

Support CMS (Chemical Management Solutions) Programs in the Aerospace business unit and provide necessary training.  Aerospace business supported by incumbent include assist in launching aerospace CMS application, HMM, to programs in all existing and new Aerospace Chemical Management, support program after launch.  Support daily plant operations by assisting in field program operations in problem resolution.  Manage software change requests and functionality enhancements required by the business. Manage security levels and users for all ongoing and new programs.  Propose software changes/enhancements based on user feedback and on personal experience with the software roll-out, launches and support.  Coordinate the revision of ERP and EH&S software documentation, and operating procedures as the software evolves. Coordinate and execute training related to software revisions/upgrades.   Support role of Business Process Excellence (BPE) catalyst by working to standardize CMS Aerospace systems and business processes. May assist in other projects as needed.  Works as part of the CMS implementation team. 

 
Experience and Education
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or business related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of five years of related work experience.
 
Functional and Technical Skills
  • A minimum of five years of related work experience.
  • An understanding of basic concepts, terminology and practical application of current and emerging technologies.  
  • Strong analytical abilities to isolate problems, fix immediate needs, evaluate alternative approaches, analyze all ramifications, and to recommend the most feasible and economical solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively participate in both collaborative environments and on an individual basis without close supervision.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Microsoft SQL, project management, and supply chain experience all strong pluses.
  • Travel of up to 30% to work with customer teams.
