Strategic Sourcing Manager (Virtual - Open to All US Locations)

Position Summary:
PLEASE NOTE: This is a VIRTUAL home-based position and open to all US locations.
WHAT THIS JOB INVOLVES
This position will focus on establishing service provider contracts and managing supplier performance through metrics established by JLL, supporting overall JLL strategic direction
CRITICAL TASKS
- Development and management of all supplier communications.
- Oversight of supplier set-up in JLL business platforms.
- Training account team members on procurement best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Establish contracts with selected suppliers in specific markets.
- Educate suppliers on working with JLL and established account teams.
- Manage supplier screening process and work with suppliers to gain and maintain compliant status.
- Manage supplier quality delivery through established JLL tools and processes
This team member will serve as a single point of contact for suppliers in all procurement and sourcing related issues, and will interact on an executive level with the internal JLL account team and the JLL client.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform due diligence on supplier base for execution of positive strategic outcomes
- Analyze Master Service Agreement (MSA) and identify applicable flow down language for inclusion in subcontractor contract templates.
- Identify unique MSA and client requirements for supplier protocols
- Develop, customize and distribute supplier communications, terms and conditions, and related documents necessary to on-board suppliers in JLL systems.
- Manage supplier responses and inquiries to obtain highest response rate possible.
- Supply other work streams with essential vendor information to support Accounting, Call Center, and Work Order systems set up.
- Provide guidance to support staff in matrix reporting environment to ensure key supplier deliverables are met.
- Provide contract and risk management training to suppliers and the account teams.
- Execute new supplier agreements on tight timelines to cover any gaps in service.
- Contribute new ideas and best practices to enhance the procurement functional area and the overall procurement process.
- Contribute functional area updates and budgets for new business proposals as requested.
- Lead internal and client calls to provide high level progress reports by functional area, provide highlights that may involve other functional areas, and raise red flags that will negatively impact operations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and/or 5+ years strategic sourcing or related experience.
- MBA, preferred.
- Expertise in sourcing with demonstrated ability to manage change.

- Willingness and ability to be both the strategist and tactician.
- Success implementing multiple sourcing strategies and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments.
- Sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, tenacity and the flexibility to operate independently in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
- Strong leadership skills; the ability to quickly build a working rapport and level of influence with executive level management.
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a track record of identifying potential issues pro-actively and formulating solutions and contingency plans.
- High level of organization and project management skills.
- Broad knowledge and demonstrated level of competency in commonly-used Facility Management systems, such as JD Edwards Financials, PeopleSoft, Corrigo, SharePoint, and other account platforms.
- Broad knowledge of JLL business lines.
- Effective computer skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and Visio, PowerPoint.
