Associate Project Manager - Industrial

Position Summary:

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Prepare project management reports and meeting minutes
  • Manage all project documentation including contracts, budgets and schedules
  • Oversee team's backlog updates to Accounting for C2C and forecast input
  • Run Ad Hoc reports as needed for analysis/review/tracking (Client First, Backlog, etc)
  • Ensure team performance goals are being met on a quarterly basis
  • Gather information and create case studies, cost saves, benchmarking data, client surveys, etc.
  • Assist with team activities/events/surveys
  • Duties to include, but are not limited to: copying, travel arrangements, expense reporting, organization of lunch and webex meetings, submitting check requests, courier service arrangements, etc.
 
MARKETING SUPPORT
  • Responsible for smaller marketing functions including PowerPoint presentations, responses to proposals, project placemats, and industry brochures
  • Research project leads and industry events
 
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Proactively manage project-related issues
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application for all project management technology as required for assigned projects
  • Assist with the development of scope and schedule for project work
  • Conduct and document all weekly meetings
  • Coordinate and track all vendor RFP’s
  • Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation
  • Prepare/update project status reports
  • Process purchase orders and invoices
  • Update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials
  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, preferred
  • 1-3 years of practical experience
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal and external individuals
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage differing needs of the business
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of construction or commercial real estate industry is preferred
  • Able to work with a team and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
