Financial Transaction Analyst - Multi Family

Position Summary:


JLL is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual with relevant multifamily /real estate work experience to join our Atlanta, GA Multifamily Finance team as a Financial Transaction Analyst.  Our Team provides debt and equity placements across various investor classes including CMBS, Agency, Life Company and Private Equity Groups.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Support Multifamily Finance Team Members in securing, marketing and closing debt and equity placement assignments
Input financial data from P&L statements and property rent rolls into valuation models.

Gather, compile and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverables in formats pertinent to real estate transactions.

Under supervision of senior Team Members, develop proforma financial projections.

Under supervision of senior team members, complete preliminary asset valuations using discounted cash flow, income capitalization, leveraged IRR, comparable sales and construction cost techniques.
 

  • Prepare monthly articles for newsletters and periodic research pieces for special events and presentations
  • Prepare proposals and offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilities
  • Assist in all aspects of preparing presentations, offering materials and misc. reports for new business pursuits
  • Abstracting Legal documents
  • Communicating with and coordinating work of third-party vendors in connection with preparation of offering materials and presentations.
  • Under direction of senior project team members, facilitate transaction due diligence process.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Real Estate and excellent academic credentials
  • 1 – 3 years of work experience in Finance or Real Estate, preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
 
  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables
  • Advanced internet research capabilities
  • Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (applicant may be asked to submit previous work product)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team on a wide variety of projects
  • Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload
  • Ability to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis given varying team requirements
  • Advanced understanding of real estate fundamentals, economic metrics, and research processes
  • A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
