HVAC Technician - Warehouse

Position Summary:
Must pass background check including drug screen and MVR.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Regular and predictable attendance to support the needs of the team and the client
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, chillers, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various other building systems for an assigned account.
- Perform periodic service work on chillers, cooling towers, and pump stations to optimize operation of systems. This will include hands-on work to complete the necessary work within JLL standards and guidelines.
- Identify energy savings opportunities at facilities including system and operational changes that can decrease the property’s energy consumption.
- Perform duties with a minimum of direct supervision, and assist as a helper in other trades and in the general maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds.
- Operate forklift in a warehouse environment and perform minor inventory control. Forklift and inventory control trainings will be provided.
- Register delivery vehicles to the warehouse into client’s system
- Drive small box truck as needed to deliver or pickup materials between client sites
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years related experience
- Forklift experience, preferred
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
- EPA certification, preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Mechanical and Electrical aptitude a must.
- Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs (including use of Microsoft Office Suite), skill in use of the internet to navigate to and use web based applications, and ability to use handheld electronic devices (PDA, Blackberry, cell phone, etc.).
- Team player, hard worker, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports

- The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
