The Benefits Analyst, Sr. is responsible for conducting analyses of benefits programs to evaluate external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization's benefit practices in alignment with Aaron’s business strategies and Rewards strategy. Assist in the research of benefit plans and providers and make recommendations to Director. Develop benefit programs and may assist in the administration of all programs. Analyze associate benefit plans for competitiveness and adherence to financial goals.

Job Duties:
Analyze the company’s associates benefit plans for competitiveness and adherence to financial goals
Monitor benefits programs regarding trends, practices and costs and works with Director on recommendations for changes to programs. Prepare monthly/quarter metrics on benefit plan utilization, cost, opportunities, and usage
Provide project management functions as a leader of benefit plan programs with responsibility to lead and deploy all benefit programs
Serve as liaison with benefit plan vendors to assure proper plan administration, communication and cost containment initiatives
Monitor compliance of benefit programs to ensure compliance is maintained with all regulatory bodies, including gathering appropriate information for Form 5500 preparation, 401(k) nondiscrimination test, Section 125 nondiscrimination test, creation and maintenance of SPD’s, SMM’s, SAR’s, and other required compliance notices
Creation of associate communication and education
Manage leaves administration process
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
5 years of experience in benefits administration
CEBS or CBP certification or in progress
Extensive knowledge of benefits laws, regulations, and guidelines
Ability to lead organizational-wide benefits initiatives
Build and maintains strong and effective working relationships with Management, AR Partners, corporate/business unit functions, and associates
Demonstrate highly developed and proven analytical skills, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to maintain high attention to detail
Demonstrate ability to complete multiple priorities at same time, with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Demonstrate ability to research problems, applies analytical techniques, and follows issues through to resolution
Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
· Strong communication and presentation skills required, and experience with management interface and relationship building · Demonstrate delivery of extraordinary customer experience |
Possess skilled knowledge of Microsoft office suite software to include MS Project and Visio
Travel may be required occasionally
