Position Summary:
Overview
We are currently seeking a Global Finance Director for one of our client dedicated Corporate Solutions account teams based out of Duluth, GA. Our Global Finance Director will manage, control and direct the accounting and financial functions for a client account in a high visibility, client-facing role.
Essential Functions
Directs and oversees regional finance managers in London (EMEA), Hong Kong (APAC) and Duluth, GA (Americas) using a combination of JLL and client systems with the emphasis on client systems (used for budget, forecast, actual and variance reporting).
Partner with JLL Account Director to develop and review strategic initiatives and other proposals that will bring additional value to the client.
Partner with service line leads in Facilities Management, Transactions, Projects, Occupancy Planning and Portfolio Planning to insure consistent and cost effective service delivery.
Manages the monthly financial reporting process, coordinating budget development, monthly forecast (Outlook) process, variance reporting, risk and opportunity tracking/follow up and financial analysis.
Oversees regional managers who are responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, maintaining the general ledger, funding requests, and balance sheet reconciliations, where applicable.
Recommends and implements policies and procedures to standardize accounting practices and internal controls.
Serves as a financial liaison between our management organization and the client. Serves as the key, global single point of contact for client’s team related to all financial matters.
Partners with the Global Performance Manager in collecting, reporting and obtaining client sign-off on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely and accurate KPI incentive and at risk fees invoicing and collection.
Ensures proper accounting systems and processes are in place and maintained in accordance with GAAP.
Maintain working knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, Master Services Agreement (MSA) and any relevant amendments or appendices.
Partner with other service line leads to identify and implement process re-engineering and cost savings opportunities. Partner with Global Performance Manager in insure cost savings entered in tracker meet contractual guidelines and report status to management team. Track savings incentive gain-share earned by each region and insure proper expense accruals on client books.
Insure client is invoiced per MSA and JLL revenue is recognized appropriately.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and JLL Internal Audit and Client Accounting Services SSAE16 internal review standards.
Corporate finance management including: annual and periodic budgeting for the JLL P&L for the assignment, monitoring accuracy of the income statement, corporate receivables, and quarterly revenue attestation.
Oversee the training, development and workload of global accounting team staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of related work experience; 5 years of direct management/supervisory experience
Audit and internal controls background is a plus
Strong accounting skills
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Proficiency in computer-based accounting applications. Experience with JD Edwards World or JD Edwards Enterprise One platforms is a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills to internal and external parties
Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
