Job Overview:
Priscilla is the Costume character for the Macy’s Pink Pig Ride. Priscilla is an Atlanta icon and spends the holiday season entertaining crowds and taking photos with kids of all ages.
Essential Functions:
• Provides interactive engagement as a costume character for guests at the Macy’s Pink pig ride
• Takes photos with families at photo operation set-up
• Professional interaction with customers at all times
• Perform other duties as needed
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
• Position schedule is October 3 - January 2nd
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• Costume character experience preferred
• Desire to work with children required
Communication Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Mathematical Skills:
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Reasoning Ability:
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Present a professional image consistent with Macy's brand values
Physical Demands:
• Prolonged standing and sitting
• Wearing a costume made for a person no taller than 5ft. 6in. tall
• Children sitting on lap
Other Skills:
• Positive and friendly
• High level of energy/endurance (ability to stay in costume for 3-4 hours)
• Punctuality
• Willingness to work outside underneath a tent
• Previous costume character experience is a plus
Work Hours:
• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours which may include day, evening, weekends and/or holidays
