Priscilla Pink Pig Costume Character Handler

Job Overview:
The handler for Priscilla the Macy’s Pink Pig character is charged with seamlessly facilitating guest visits with Priscilla. As handler you will be required to give equal attention to Priscilla’s needs while assisting guests with their visit and photo op with Priscilla.
Essential Functions:
• Guides Macy’s Pink Pig Costume Character to and from dressing room
• Assists Pricilla in getting dressed/undressed
• Helps in facilitating pictures with families (works with photo op staff in preparation of Priscilla for photos)
• Professional interaction with customers at all times
• Perform other duties as needed
• Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
• Position schedule is October 3 - January 2nd
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
• Strong customer service skills required
• Desire to work with children
Communication Skills:
• Knowledge of a second language helpful
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Mathematical Skills:
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Reasoning Ability:
• Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment
• Present a professional image consistent with Macy's brand values
Physical Demands:
• Prolonged Standing or walking
• Ability to stand for 5-6 hours (with breaks)

• Must be a problem solver
Work Hours:
• Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours which may include day, evening, weekends and/or holidays
