Overview:
The Vice President for Infrastructure Operation Services is responsible for delivering technical solutions using the Microsoft’s suite of products, providing technical leadership in mobile device evaluation and certification, supporting the BYOD program for the company, providing innovative audio/video infrastructure solutions and delivering server/cloud solutions for stores business growth. This role is responsible for building strategies and sophisticated POS solutions in the stores domain to improve associate and customer experience. It is important for this role to have hands on experience with mobile and collaboration products and be able to showcase them to users at all levels and drive adoption across the company. It is critical to the success of this position to maintain a close working partnership with all business areas of the organization. The position requires excellent communication within all levels of Macy’s as well as sound execution disciplines of planned projects. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technology related field. 7 years of experience working in an IT Infrastructure environment. 7 years leadership experience in key Infrastructure disciplines servers, storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Vice President level role.
- Excellent presentation skills required.
- Strong technical skills and experience with Windows and Mobile Devices required.
- Experience with Office 365 and Windows/Mac
- Strong leadership profile and excellent negotiation skills
- Demonstrated understanding of technological trends and developments in the areas of data centers, servers, virtualization, network architecture, telephony messaging, mobility and cloud computing.
- Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure generally, including hardware, software, networks, database, and
- Applications
- Advanced knowledge of system software (Windows, Linux, Solaris, etc)
- Advanced knowledge of operations management support tools (monitoring, capacity planning, debugging)
- Advanced knowledge of software development frameworks and processes
- Advanced knowledge of highly scalable data center infrastructure patterns Intermediate knowledge of application architecture
- Intermediate knowledge of technical security and infrastructure security software
- Exceptional communication skills and partnership building with several key teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, write, and interpret business and technical documents.
Decision Making:
- Leader for infrastructure technology standards of platform and configuration.
- Leader for the definition and documentation of IT infrastructure service delivery processes.
- Major contributor for infrastructure architecture with Operations senior management and Enterprise Architects.
- Infrastructure technology capital budget in partnership with finance teams and senior management.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- 4 direct reports, 100 indirect reports
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Directs enterprise-wide large scale projects of significant scale and impact.
- Requires strategic thinking of all tools & technologies in market to provide
- best user experience.
Work Hours:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
