Job Description/Summary:
As a Senior Product Manager, you will manage our Cricket Wireless Product growth initiatives. This includes developing consumer-facing offers that derive value for the customer and monitoring processes for possible efficiencies. You will need to develop product strategies, features and product enhancements to support and improve on key performance indicators while indirectly working with indirect, cross-functional teams to support the product. Finally, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of the product, and deliver on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), including adoption, gross additions, reduced churn, and customer satisfaction goals. The ideal candidate will:
Actively contribute to the overall product strategy and drive results, including managing product portfolio
Lead design efforts to impact KPIs within the overall organization
Draft requirements that are used by the internal and external development teams to build new features
Support the end-to-end customer experience and manage product lifecycles
Ensure all efforts associated with products are market and customer-driven
Drive an intellectual, process-oriented, and analytically-focused product management practice with a commitment to grow, protect, and diversify customer relationships and sell-through partners
Work with sales and distribution to ensure channel performance and planning
Effectively manage across functions to create broad participation and buy-in of product initiatives and management processes
Employ interpersonal skills to interface effectively with other disciplines of the business at a managerial level as well as a front line team level
Possess technical acumen that allows for a complete understanding of the fundamental technologies driving the competitive landscape, and how to leverage technology and systems to gain clear market advantages
Primary liaison with Partners for Product Development from product specifications to implementation and delivery.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to lead/influence/persuade diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors and partners.
Required Qualifications:
BA or BS
Five years’ experience in product life cycle management required
Exceptional Project Management Skills and fact-based decision-making skills
Exceptional written and oral skills
Five years’ experience in product life cycle management required
Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills
Proven ability to translate ideas and vision into product definition and requirements
Proven ability to launch and support ideas and vision
Proven ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to successfully partner with other organizations including technology, go-to-market, and device teams
Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills
Strong strategic thinking skills
Working knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, marketing and/or service policies and procedures and excellent communication.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other standard office computer applications
Job may require up to 25% Travel
Desired Qualifications:
MBA
Experience with Executive level presentations
Six or more years’ experience in product lifecycle management
Experience in wireless services, data, and / or high tech industry--messaging experience
Ability to anticipate risks and devise contingencies to manage them
BA in Marketing or Business preferred
