We see this role as an expert in churn and revenue, who will fulfill ETL, analytic, pathing, data mining, and modeling functions. Our team uses Big Data technologies and expansive datasets of customer attributes including billing/device/usage, network, contacts, and survey data to identify actionable insights to reduce churn and drive profitable revenues across core plans and products.
Initiatives:
Implementation of new data sources and analytical tables to enhance both capabilities and efficiency of the team
Creation of datasets and facilitation of presentation to clients through data visualization tools
Create visualizations of complex data insights to quickly convey key takeaways
Automate and integrate new software solutions to increase speed of data visualization
Perform data studies and data discovery around new data sources or new uses for existing data sources
Perform statistical analyses with existing data sets
Auditing of data and basic reporting to ensure the accuracy of the data used for analysis
Position is located in Atlanta, GA.
Essential job duties: use a computer, speak on the phone, conduct meetings and/or presentations; ability to travel, if needed.
Required:
Advanced/Expert background in data analytics, statistical analysis, modeling, and Big Data analysis (Hadoop, MapReduce, SAS, SQL)
Ability to communicate complex information
Passion for refining general problem statements into specific and meaningful hypotheses, through execution
Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Quantitative Analysis or related field of study
