The person in this role will be highly analytical with a strong understanding of customers, products/plans and marketing. This person will also have a strong background with BI tools and development of analytics based on these tools. Communication skills and ability to convey analytical findings and apply those findings to business issues is critical.
Initiatives:
Develop new insightful analytics and effectively communicate insights to broad spectrum of audiences
Create visualizations of complex data insights to quickly convey key takeaways
Automate and integrate new software solutions to increase speed and efficiency of data visualization
Perform data studies and data discovery around new data sources and new uses for existing data sources
Respond to ad hoc analytics requests quickly and efficiently
Audit of data and basic reporting to ensure the accuracy of the data used for analysis
Position is located in Atlanta, GA.
Essential job duties: use a computer, speak on the phone and conduct meetings and/or presentations.
Required:
Strong background in analytics and data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, BO, Cognos, Microstrategy)
Demonstrated ability to solve unique problems with limited guidance, and can independently apply sophisticated analysis when evaluating issues
Ability to communicate complex information
Experience in data analysis and programming (SAS, SQL)
