FLTG Park Manager

Job Description: The FLTG Park Manager is responsible for the overall operation, staffing, safety, security and efficiency of the park. The Manager will be expected to maximize all resources to achieve efficiency and economic goals. As the Manager, the incumbent will participate in the company’s Management Leadership Team and attend sessions as planned.

Key Responsibilities:

Outside Plant – Field Technicians and Line Crew
•    Supervise Field Technicians and Line Crew – monitors performance, quality, attendance, productivity, efficiency and attention to safety.
•    With support from employee relations, responsible for interviewing and selection
•    Oversees daily scheduling and prioritizes tickets as needed
•    Mobilize resources for emergencies and emergency preparedness
•    Provides budget management and proper utilization of financial resources

Data Center
•    Oversee operation and management of FLTG Commercial Data Center located at FLTG Park. This is an area of strategic growth for the company and the Manager will have a key role in its development.
•    Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure that the Data Center is in compliance with SOC II and HIPAA regulations.
•    Ensure proper security and redundancy measures are in place to meet customer requirements and to facilitate customer access on an as-needed basis.
Company Vehicles
•    Supervises employee(s) in charge of company vehicles.
•    Develops policy and procedure for routine maintenance, upkeep, cost of repairs, fuel use, replacement and routine inspection for cleanliness and safety.
•    The expectation is that all vehicles housed at FLTG Park, Trumansburg and Phelps locations will be monitored accordingly.
Facilities
•    Supervises employee(s) on the facilities team and any contractors needed to complete facility related projects.
•    Oversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and facility expansion if needed.
•    Oversees the maintenance of the interior and exterior of the buildings and grounds.
•    Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications, including cost estimates.
•    Inspects construction and installation progress.
•    Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.
•    Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of facility.
•    Develops and administers the annual budget.

Competencies/Qualifications/Education
•    Seven years of relevant experience
•    Threee years of supervisory experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field
•    Preference for working in a fast paced environment with a growing company
•    Ability to lead team of diverse employees
•    Ability to work independently and take initiative
•    Excellent problem solving skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
•    Willingness to be a hands-on leader when necessary
•    Experience in telecommunications field work preferred
